21st-century skills, future workforce and the role of education, skills for the future, these are the main topics of debate that are being discussed at International and local levels. The Keynote speech for this conference addressed by Professor Vincent Cassar, who sought to reflect on these changes. Different stakeholders from the education and employment sector added further value to this conference by providing their input on what is their role when it comes to preparing the future workforce in such a dynamic and complex labour market. The workshops added further insight to the discussion by looking at the perspective of the front liners which involved educators and representatives from the public employment sector.
