The Malta Career Guidance Association (MCGA) will be undertaking research in order to investigate how best to approach professionalising the career guidance sector. The first part of the research will involve conducting interviews with key stakeholders in the field of career guidance. Applicants must possess a Level 7 qualification in the area of career guidance (or related field); a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in the education or employment sectors and skills in interviewing techniques. The selected candidate will be expected to undertake a minimum of 4 interviews. He/she will also be expected to analyse the interviews and identify the themes which emerge from the interviews with stakeholders. All interviewers will be expected to participate in a focus group discussion in order to discuss the overall common themes. Interview data must be handed in by mid December 2016. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their expression of interest to perform such tasks by not later than 4th November 2016.
